Bass Lake - Cohasset Fishing Report 2-26-2013
Ice fishing for big bluegills has been terrific so far this season. Fish are being found in 12-14 FOW on the edges of the weed flats wherever there is soft bottom. A Bro’s Bloodworm tipped with a waxworm or maggot is a sure bet. If you aren’t getting bit, DOWNSIZE.
While the bite has been good all day, the best times seem to be from noon to 3:00PM.
There are also bonus crappies and jumbo perch as well the occasional northern, bass and walleye.
Ice conditions are great with over 30” in most spots. Access is good with roads being plowed out to the main areas from the public accesses.
